Might go and BUY ADOBE and have peace of mind. I emailed upClick and they have asked for the engineers name which I don't remember.I am quite wary of this company and its product. The PC was new and was fully protected by Kaspersky total Security.I logged off the PC and went back in to Task Manager were the CPU utilisation was now 1/2% and these files were no longer present.I think I was being duped. He then started promoting their It support and that there was 3 hours worth of cleaning up to do. He then proceeded to show me that I had too many backgrounds tasks running in Task Manager and that some of the files in Task Manager Trojans. To fix this the support engineer needed to access my PC? Felt very nervous about this and was ready to pull the plug at a moments notice. When I ran the application it started doing what it had done originally i.e showing it as a trial version even though I had bought a full version. I had my PC rebuilt so had to download software again. PDF Suite Standard This package is just what you need if youre looking for the essential and most commonly used features such as Convert, Edit, and Markup. I had a very similar issue with PDF suite support. In short, this whole experience has me thinking "SCAM!" Beware. My several attempts to cancel my order have been met with delay and redirection. Don't count on mediocre customer service, either. Lastly, you can forget about good customer service. It took several attempts to be rid of the damn thing. It was a herculean task to completely remove it from my PC. It constantly pops up on my PC regardless of what I'm doing. Another extremely annoying component to the "program" is the constant pop-up messages asking me to "activate." This despite the fact that I got an activation confirmation e-mail, right along with the overcharge for an upgrade I did not request. I tried a simple task of merging several existing PDF pages and the program would not perform this function. And the program doesn't even work for me. And still they charged me for the upgrade against my consent. Several times during the order process they kept soliciting me to upgrade the program and I chose every time to opt out of the upgrade. Upon e-mail confirmation from the company, it was apparent that they had charged me about double the price that was advertised. By Anonymous reviewed on November 9, 2023
